The Qingming Festival, also known as Tomb-Sweeping Day, is a traditional Chinese festival that is celebrated on the 15th day after the Spring Equinox. It is a time for families to pay respects to their ancestors by visiting their graves, cleaning the tombstones, and making offerings of food and other items.
In our fourth grade English class, we have been learning about the significance of the Qingming Festival and how it is celebrated in China. We have been exploring the customs and traditions associated with this special day, as well as the history and cultural importance of honoring one’s ancestors.
For our English project, we have decided to create a hand-written report on the Qingming Festival, highlighting the key aspects of the holiday and sharing interesting facts and information with our classmates. Through our research and creativity, we hope to deepen our understanding of this important cultural tradition and share our knowledge with others.
